Latest COVID-19 Posting – from Father Konstantine and Community Council

Dear Faithful Parishioners of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of London

As of March 21, 2020, the final conditions have been implemented to safely attend all Church Services from your homes. Starting tomorrow, Sunday, and  until further notice,  all services will be aired by way of social media. As  announced by His Eminence Archbishop Sotirios “from this point forward, all of our Church Services and Divine Liturgies will be conducted behind closed doors by the Priest, the Cantor and Altar Assistant.  No Church Service or Divine Liturgy can be omitted for two reasons:

  1. In order to praise and glorify the Holy Trinity; and
  2. for Church Services and Divine Liturgies to be streamed online through

Church Websites & Social Media so that pious Christians can follow and pray along.  In this way, we are given the opportunity to make our home and our family a “Church that is in our house,” as St. Paul states.”

The  live stream of Church Services can be accessed by using one of the links below:

Remember to pray daily and not to allow fear or panic to overwhelm us.  Let us be reminded of our hope in the Lord, “O Lord of the Powers, be with us!  For we have none other than Thee, in times of sorrow and distress, O Lord of the Powers, be with us!”  (Lenten hymn of Great Compline)

Remain steadfast to our faith, as there is strength in our love of the Lord and His teachings.

“Perhaps some of you have felt that these drastic measures undermine or harm our faith.  However, that which is at stake

Is not our faith – it is our faithful.
It is not Christ – it is our Christians.
It is not the divine-man – but human beings”

His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew
